CUNCTI SIMUS CONCANENTES Anonymous (14th cent.) - Llibre Vermell de Montserrat (The Llibre Vermell de Montserrat manuscript is from the 14th century and contains late medieval music from the Montserrat monastery in Spain composed in latin and Catalan.)

As the Virgin was alone, lo an angel appeared. He is called Gabriel and sent from heaven. And with shining mien he said: Hail Mary Let us all sing: Ave Maria

And with shining mien he said, hear, most beloved, lo you shall conceive, Mary: Hail Mary Let us all sing: Ave Maria

Lo you shall conceive, Mary, hear, most beloved, you shall bear a son: Hail Mary Let us all sing: Ave Maria

You shall bear a son, hear, most beloved, you shall call him Jesus: Hail Mary Let us all sing: Ave Maria
